Our Accreditation Process

Halo Consulting has proven experience supporting organizations through the process of becoming accredited and maintaining accreditation with third-party accrediting agencies, such as the Council on Accreditation (COA) and CARF International (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).

Achieving accreditation and maintaining those standards means that an organization has risen to globally-defined best practice accreditation standards, and has a continual quality improvement process in place to best serve the needs of its clients. The process of becoming accredited is a transformative undertaking requiring 12 – 18 months of organization-wide operational reflection and improvement, ultimately resulting in superior transparency and accountability on all aspects of the organization’s programs, financials, and client outcomes. Organizations that achieve successful accreditation not only have greater marketability and proven improvements in financial sustainability and growth, but they also represent innovative leaders in their field with the highest quality service to children, youth, and families.

As part of Halo Consulting we have a commitment to excellence, we support organizations such as foster care agencies, residential treatment centers, and wraparound service providers with the tools, partnership, and expertise needed to undertake a successful accreditation. Accreditation is not merely an additional set of standards mandated by the Family First Prevention Act – it is an opportunity to become a top-tier provider and boost an organization’s long-term success.
